spring semester 2021
This is PAM-2, the second of two courses, introducing particle accelerators from a theoretical point of view and covers state-of-the-art modelling techniques. It emphasises the multidisciplinary aspect of the field, both in methodology (numerical and computational methods) and in regard to applications such as medical, industrial, material research and particle physics. The aim is to develope an understanding of the basic building blocks of particle accelerators in the non-linear regime. A Git repository is available for the coding exercises. Here you can find the Overview of the Course Content.
We regularly offer various projects (term, BSc and MSc) within the field of particle accelerator physics and modeling.
